Etude House Dual Fibre Cheek Brush Glow

Star brush from Etude House collection.
It's a wonderful brush with such an inexpensive price (compared to MAC brushes)
got this brush for S$21.90 only! My MAC 187 is around S$80+

It's made from real animal hair (i'm not sure which animal it is from as i can't read Korean) and synthetic bristles.
It's superrrr soft! The bristles does not scratch my face!s
MAC's is still softer, but not much different from Etude House's.
EH's one is much easier to wash though.

Many people experience shedding during 1st wash. Mine also shed, but not much. Only a few strains, 5?
But during the second wash, it won't shed anymore ;)

MAC 187 is meant for liquid foundation application while EH is meant for blusher / highlighter.
My friend tried using her EH brush to apply MAC liquid foundation, and it works just like MAC 187.

I think this brush is really worth it to spent on.
Highly recommended, and if I asked to give rating to this brush, I'll say 5 teddy bears out of 5 :)

Color Me Nude Lip Concealer

This is one of products in my favorite Etude House Peach Collection.
Basically, it's a lip concealer to conceal your lip color, so that your lipstick / lipgloss color will be more vibrant.
I recommend this product for you who have pigmented lip and had hard time to create nude lip.
It creates perfect nude lip effect :)
Well, i can't compare this product with other brand as this is my first lip concealer.
My lips are quite pale already, so i don't find any purpose for a lip concealer.
But, sometimes my lips are pigmented enough to fail my tempt on nude lip effect *lol*

As what i heard from some beauty bloggers, some lip concealer is super sticky and drying at the same time. But i never occur any dryness, stickiness or whatsoever with this product.

Dab it lightly on your lips. (DAB!) and it'll give you a super natural pale lip.
Pstt.. I've tried to use it alone without any lipgloss/ lipstick at school, and i succeed to convince my teachers that im sick and they let me to go home! *evil smirk*

VIP Girl Peach Syrup Gloss #1 Nude Pink

This Gloss is from VIP Girl Collection which did not catch my attention.
It have been reviewed that this collection is not as worth as others such as Peach Collection, Precious Mineral Collection.
But i give this gloss a try since it promised a pink with nude effect lip.
It's available in 2 shades, #1 Nude Pink and #2 Nude Peach

It has a thick creamy texture, milky strawberry pink color and juicy peach scent
Cute packaging, hot pink cap and unique heart shape application.
On first application, it gives me a fine lipstick rouge like effect.
Well, it creates a good nude effect as well. But not really pale which is good in my opinion.
It contains pink, purple and blue shimmer, emphasized on pink shimmer
It's quite sticky compare to another Etude House gloss, such as Peach Water Gloss (review will follow soon!)
I believe it's because of it's thick creamy texture. But it does not really matter to be because if the texture is watery and light, it wont gives you a nice nude effect :)

You can create this color simply with Color Me Nude Lip Concealer + Strawberry Pink gloss, which i think will be lighter and not very sticky.
I like this gloss quite well as it will be quite inconvenient to re-apply lip concelaler + gloss if you're outside.
But it really depends on each person. :)

[Etude House] Lash Designing Vitcara #Sexy Volume

This mascara is the new version of Big Eye 66 Vitcara which released earlier by EH.
This new version includes in the Fall 08 Collection.
There are two types of this mascara. They are:
#Sexy Volume (dark purple tube) - for volumizing
#Clean & Curl (dark blue tube) - for lenghtening

You may have not seen this kind of mascara wand, and found them very weird. But it is specially designed for volumizing.
The bottom part of the brush (refer to the pic), is especially designed with 9 rows that contains 33 bristles every row. It's curved shape, maintains 297 raised bristles to gather and distribute the mascara evenly and cleanly to each individual lash.
The upper part of the brush is to concentrate mascara application to lashes located at the inner and outer part of eye.

The #Clean & Curl brush type is similar to your toothbrush (LOL)
I think i'll purchase it and give it a try :)

This mascara is sure contains quite a lot of fiber. If you loves fiber base mascara, then this mascara will probably suit you, contrary, if you hate, i suggest don't waste your money on this product.

Anyway, i love it! It volumized my lashes pretty well. It does not give your lashes the "crunchy" look. Well, at least on my lashes. But I think almost all mascara will gives you the crunchy lash look if you apply your mascara repeatedly in countless times.

It's waterproof. Maybe? They does not state there. But i never encounter any panda eye with this product. So i think it is :)

It dries up quite quickly and very easy to remove!

HOW TO APPLY:
1. Align brush and eye curves and apply mascara to lashes from roots to tips using zig-zag motion.
2. Use brush tail end to extend and raise lashes at the inner and outer corner of the eyes.
3. Use brush tail to further extend outer eye edge lashes to complete foxy look.

Well, i don't think it's a lot. It's just like shopping without GST.

Pore Erasing Peach Base #1 Peach.
It's one of the Peach Line products that Etude House introduced.
I'd really like to buy after reading a lot of good reviews about it.
It's a make up base in a cute glass jar which carries Peach scent

There are 2 shades available.
#1 Peach and #2 Mint.
Mint is supposed to cover redness on your face but in this case, it does not cover redness any better than the peach one. I believe it's because of the thick texture it have.

You need to use the spatula to take the products out of the jar and warm it on the back of your hand before evenly spread it over your face. Just as instructed. It's very thick creamy base so it's really impossible to take the product out with your finger -which i tried to do with the tester.

It evenly spread over my face. Very smooth texture and conceal my redness and pores quite well. Your face will looks chalky after application. But it will be easily covered by any two way cakes, i believe.

It's really mattifying but does not dry on your face.
The super plus of this product is it's oil control.
Usually my face become oily about 3-4 hours after application. But with this product, it takes about 6-8 hours. And still, my skin is not as shiny as if use other base such as Majolica Majorca Skin Lingerie after 6-8 hour.

It's really a wonderful base except for it's not really friendly to dry skin.
If you have dry oily skin combination like me, it will looks patchy on your skin. After sometimes, it will cause some tiny breakouts on the dry area.

I've been trying to get rid of this problem, and i think I've got the solution.
You really have to use your skin care such as toner and moisturizer prior to application
Make sure your skin is supple enough and no dry area on your face.
The best to use this product is after using your full skin care / mask.
And so, the problem is not a big deal anymore.

Edit (25/08): This is extremely unrecommended for dry skin! it will absorb all your oil from your face and leave dry patches! (unless you apply good moisturizing toner & lotion)

My combination skin, it will absorb all oil from my face for a few hour after application, which leaves dry patches. After 6 hour, the "oil control" will be no more, and leave my skin oily with dry patches.

You must use non alcohol & non oily toner + lotion before applying.
I use Shiseido Pureness range.

I have tried using Moistfull skin care (which i contains oil) range from Etude House before base application, which make my face super oily + super greasy (but no dry patches).
With Aqua Sherbet skin care (contain alcohol) from EH, the dry patches will show up again, but face is not very oily.

So, best result is obtained with use of NON Alcohol and NON Oily toner & lotion (for combination skin)
